"The experience was outstanding.  The kitchen was spacious enough to accommodate all of us.  The personnel were supportive while allowing us to gain our own hands on experience.  The executive chef was stellar in experience and detail.  He consistently amazed me in that, no matter how hectic the preparation would become he managed all details;  he even remembered my allergies and tailored each dish to accommodate me without sacrificing everyone else’s tastes!  

Before I left I told friends and family I was going to eat and drink my way through Spain.  Well I certainly did that in Granada.  The first night’s dinner was an exciting introduction to the cuisine of Granada.  The final meal as a group was exquisite with a view to match.  I felt I experienced the best of Granada. 

I would recommend this trip to everyone I know.  It is a value laden vacation.  We cooked hands on, we learned the hows and whys of food preparation, we ate like royalty… all the while having a grand old time."

"Fabulous experience. Very, very hands on.  Exactly what I was looking for and more.  Chef was incredible, a true Spanish culinary top chef.  The Alhambra Palace Hotel couldn’t have been in a better location. Just 300 meters from the restaurant and a couple blocks from the Alhambra.  Rooms had a great view and the dinner we had Sunday night was delicious.

Eleni could not have been more wonderful or more professional. She epitomizes what I have come to believe is Greek spirit – hospitality and generosity. We learned several dishes that we are going to use for our Christmas dinner (spinach pie, roasted eggplant, taziki). But beyond the cooking, learning in her home and talking to her about food and anything else gave us a real sense of Greek people. That was as important to us as learning cooking techniques and recipes.

This was our first trip.. but certainly not our last. I will recommend you and Eleni to my friends who will be traveling to Greece next year. Experiences like this are what really expand my world. We couldn’t be happier.
