An Introduction to Moroccan Cooking - One Day Class
Cooking Class Vacation Details
Hidden down one of the narrow alleys of the Fes medina is Café Clock, identified by Footprint’s 2009 Morocco Guide as ‘probably the best café in Morocco.’ Clock Kitchen is here to help you gain access to and intensify your sensory experience of Morocco! From recipe to souk, through preparation to plate, Clock Kitchen, located in the gastronomic capital of Fez, will chaperone you every step of the way. Learn traditional Moroccan cooking with chefs Tariq and Souad. They have grown up with the secrets to traditional Moroccan cooking and are passionate about keeping them alive. After an afternoon of hands-on instruction in Café Clock´s kitchen, you will feast on the dishes you prepared.
Morocco Cooking Vacations
In addition to this hands-on cooking class, you might wish to participate in one of our excursions to local vineyards, a Roman picnic in the ancient ruins of Volubilis, a visit to a traditional olive press (Moroccan Volubilia olive oil was voted “The World's Best Extra-virgin Olive Oil of the Year" by the Italian guide "Extravergine 2006”), or a hand-rolled couscous workshop in the Middle Atlas mountains. We are also able to arrange accommodations for you at a beautifully restored Dar on the edge of the Medina.
